More Rebel Minis and a whole lot more.

After a recent exchange of comments with Pawn Cocktail over on his blog about Rebel minis Sahadeen, it appeared that my castings were not quite up to scratch. However, in a message to Mike at Rebel, purely in the interest of letting him know he had a few 'rogues' in the locker, he very generously insisted on sending me some replacements, which I'm looking forward to. He outsources the casting of figures, and with the volume he deals with, it's impossible for him to check everything, but I would just like to say 'Thanks very much, Mike'.

So, here are a few of Rebel's minis that I have recently daubed with a bit of Vallejo-

In the last post, all my Sahadeen were in the same colour scheme, so as a rebel force/insurgents, I have decided to mix it up a bit.

Now a few of Rebel's Titan Scouts.....

These next pictures include some Rebel Minis, The Scene, Oddzial Osmy, and Khurasan examples- they are Special Forces squads, normal and urban camo.

Sadly, these next pictures aren't focussed well enough, but they are the downed flyer/mecha crew from Khurasan, followed by my first attempt at a 'Space Demon' from the same stable.

Next, a sniper from Khurasan...

An un-named mini from Khurasan-

And finally, a simple entry for the caption competition- no prize of course, 'cos it's a no-brainer!

Thanks to anyone for looking in- it's a bit picture heavy, so thanks for persevering (if you've got to the end that is!).

  1. You've been busy, Gunrunner! A great selection of minis here, very nice paint jobs. I especially like your insurgents - very nice rag-tag look.

Always excellent service from Mike & Rebel Minis :-)

    1. Thanks very much PC! A diverse collection- I seem to be flitting from one project to another, but I like the variety. You're right as well- Rebel Mike does provide excellent service. I wasn't going to take any freebies, but he insisted!

  2. Thank you kindly General! I seem to be turning out more in the first few months of this year, than the last two years put together! Thanks for looking in.

  3. I've not been overly fussed with the sahadeen, however I'm now thinking it's just been the paint jobs. These are really good and I'm now very tempted to get some myself. I also really like the spec forces and it's urban camo

    Really nice work

I might be keeping you busy in the near future...plenty of stuff coming along. I'll send some samples if I can have the pictures for my website !

    Cheers

    1. Hey Keith, how are you? Thanks for the comments, and of course, you are welcome to use any pictures you might want. I would be flattered to paint up some minis for you, although you seem to do a pretty good job yourself, though I guess time is a problem now with your new venture! Best of luck with that again!

  4. Hi, Gunny: A great looking bunch of daubed troops! This is the first time I have seen the Sahadeen and Titan Scouts painted...SWEET! You've sold me on purchasing these guys.

  5. Howdy big man! Thanks a lot! Trip along to Mike and tell him I sent you. (It won't make any difference- he doesn't know me from Adam!), and snap up a few hooded beauties! Good to hear from you.

  6. Bloody good work. They are all top notch, but I like the sniper best.

    Model on!

    1. Hi Paul, thanks very much for the feedback! The sniper probably took less time than any of the others! The rifle didn't look good with just the 2 colours, so I gave it a coat of Army Painter strong tone, then dry brushed with Vallejo light mud!

  9. Hey ' Jacker! How you doin'?! Thanks for the feedback. I've got a post coming up at long last, but it's a bit of a departure from 15mm sci fi- I fancied a bit of a change. I would appreciate some constructive advice!
